Business Philosophy
The philosophy of my business is simple...Educate my clients in the process, listen to their needs, respond to the market, and help them sell or buy real estate successfully with the greatest of ease.
Areas of Expertise
Communities I Serve
The list below includes my main areas of real estate expertise...I often can extend out from these but must be sure I am an asset to you before I assist...otherwise, I will work with another Coldwell Banker agent who is an expert in your location to be sure you receive the very best help.
Community Involvement
Being involved in the community in Downers Grove is one of my favorite things to do...it began as something I could do for others but what I get personally is such a gift...helping others and being aware of their needs helps bring me such gratitude for all the blessings I have.
My family lives in the Downers Grove community too and I couldn't love it more! You will find me often at the tons of parks with my dog, Yoga Among Friends, library, or enjoying the downtown area!
Almost every Wednesday you can find me at the Downers Grove Rehab and Nursing near Good Samaritan Hospital. I am part of a special eucharistic ministry group with St. Joseph Church in Downers. It is near and dear to my heart. I also love delivering Meals on Wheels weekly to the seniors and work at the St. Vincent DePaul pantry at St. Joseph parish.
Personal Background
I was not born a salesperson...My undergraduate degree is actually in special education. Since I graduated from NIU, I had been teaching at McClure Jr. High in Western Springs when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter. I had even found time before she was born to go to complete my master's degree in mathematics as well. During my free time of being a stay at home mom my husband and I began to learn about investing in real estate and had a goal to buy our first property.
I began looking working with a Coldwell Banker agent but kept finding all the "good" deals were being swept up fast either by the agents themselves or sold before actually processing. This is when I decide to get my license in 2001 and we have bought a couple investments since then.
I couldn't imagine not working in real estate now and I love helping others...I see myself as an educator in the processing of buying and selling homes. People do not need you to convince them to buy or sell...they know they want to...they just need me to be the expert about the market, the process, and help them create this part of their future. And I appreciate their trust!
